🎈🦃 The 3rd Grade Macey’s Day Balloon Parade was a HIT! 🦃🎈 Our amazing third graders created their very own balloon floats and proudly paraded them through the school—bringing BIG smiles and lots of celebration vibes! And… 👀 did anyone spot our INCREDIBLY disguised principal, Mrs. Pendergast, wobbling through the halls as a turkey today? Absolute highlight! 😂🦃 Huge THANK YOU to our talented 3rd grade students and dedicated teachers for making this tradition unforgettable. 💛 Wishing everyone a safe and fun Thanksgiving Break! 🦃🍁 See you back on Monday! @laytonelementary @davisschooldistrict

✨📸 Throwback Time! 📸✨ Help us welcome our amazing new OFFICE MANAGER, Mrs. Garcia — starting with this fun throwback from her days modeling wedding dresses at Dillard’s in Fashion Place Mall! 💍✨ She was just 23 here and having the time of her life. After her modeling days, she studied English in college, spent 12 years working at a bank, and now she’s here — in the place she says she absolutely LOVES and calls her happy workplace. 💛🏫 Her passion for education even inspired her dream of becoming a teacher one day! We’re so excited to have her as part of our school family. Welcome, Mrs. Garcia! 🌟 @davisschooldistrict @laytonelementary #ThrowbackThursday #WelcomeMrsGarcia #SchoolFamily #HappyWorkplace

💫Mrs. Hammerschmidt If chips and salsa were a food group, she’d have it covered! 😋 She’s also been to Paris over 20 times — Paris, Idaho that is 🇫🇷😉. Her humor and heart make learning fun every day! 💙Miss Turner She never misses her New York Times crossword, and if she could be any animal, she’d be a rolly polly — small but mighty, and always rolling with it! ✨Mrs. Knavel She just welcomed her first baby, has been to Disneyland more than 20 times, and can’t resist a dirty Dr. Pepper! 🥤 Her energy and kindness light up 5th grade! We’re so lucky to have this fun, talented trio leading the way for our 5th graders! #TeacherSpotlight #5thGradeFun #LaytonElementary #davisschooldistrict #parisidaho

🌟 It’s School Psychologist Week! 🌟 Today we’re celebrating Haley Hand, our amazing psychologist who brings heart and harmony to our team (literally—she’s a violinist!). 🎻 Haley grew up playing violin and almost became a music teacher before choosing psychology. She’s a proud Cincinnati native and Bengals fan, a BYU grad school alum with her undergrad from Utah State University, and once even took paddleboard yoga in college. Her favorite animal is cats, and she loves Reese’s dark chocolate thins, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, and BTS. 💜 Thanks for all you do, Haley — we’re lucky to have you!
